Artists and craftspeople of Pawtucket open the doors to their creative environments for three days this holiday season.

The mission of the Pawtucket Arts Festival is to present a series of events that are high-quality visual, performance and participatory arts
EVENTS <Listings> every year, by Rhode Island, regional, national and internationally-known artists that take place for the enjoyment of Pawtucket residents and visitors to our City.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

The focus of this weekend is solely the artists community in their element, the workplace and gallery. The public will have the opportunity during this three day event to experience the world-class work of designers, artists and crafts people. Hundreds of artists, designers and craftsmen have studios in the mills of Pawtucket and surrounding areas , and the population keeps growing. As the density of artists and professionals has increased, so has interest in their work. Numerous disciplines will be represented throughout participants, including: sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, installation, photography, video, jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, fabric and performance art. Much of the work will be in-process and the artists will be on hand for questions and conversations.
